Versions of our Publications!
Important Update!!! Digitized Journal available on JSTOR Illinois history students and researchers can now access the first 100 years of the Journal of the Illinois State Historical Society on JSTOR, the online digital archives available at college and university libraries around the world. Individual articles published in the Journal since 1908 can be downloaded for a $10 fee, a percentage of which is returned to ISHS as part of its contract with JSTOR. ISHS Members in good standing an have unlimited online access to the Society's Journal for a $10 annual user fee, payable to the Society. Members who sign up will receive an individual Login and Password from JSTOR, which gives them access to a searchable index of Journal articles and the complete run of the prairie state's premiere historical publication through the 2007 calendar year. Additional issues will be added each year. To sign up for the ISHS Member unlimited online access, send a $10 check to the Society at P O Box 1800, Springfield, IL 62705-1800. |
